Demo weapons: unlock prices and combat roles
The Demo route progresses from punches to Baseball Bat, Knife, Pistol and Uzi. Its unlock cards show $40, $500, $3,000 and $50,000 respectively. Follow the connected weapon branch, buy the node, then select the weapon; having enough money does not satisfy a Locked prerequisite.

All five combat options in the Demo route
Prices below come from the original Demo cards. They are unlock prices, not damage values, ammunition prices or a current full-release balance table.
| Weapon | Unlock price shown | Role / check |
|---|---|---|
| Fists / Steel Fist | Starting weapon; Steel Fist price not recorded here | Opening melee. The observed Steel Fist tooltip adds 1 damage per punch and shows damage 2 after purchase. |
| Baseball Bat | $40 | The next shown melee weapon. Equip it after unlocking. |
| Knife | $500 | Later melee option on the connected combat branch. |
| Pistol | $3,000 | Ranged weapon; watch its ammunition display. |
| Uzi | $50,000 | The late Demo weapon goal; keep processing bodies after faster combat. |
Find the weapon diamonds
The unlock cards say which weapon they open. The grey Locked tooltip asks you to purchase all connected skills. Trace those lines rather than buying an unrelated node or assuming that more money will unlock everything.

The Knife card shows $500 at 21:49; the Pistol card shows $3,000 at 50:18. The displayed amounts unlock the weapons; the cards shown here do not list damage, attack speed or reload time.
Open full-size image ↗The Uzi goal
The Uzi unlock card shows $50,000 at 2:04:08. Save for it after your collection, processing and sale route can clear useful batches. Faster shooting can move the bottleneck from live creatures to bodies waiting on the floor.

Check the equipment list and the weapon in your hands before the next delivery. When a gun’s ammunition display reaches zero, switch to an available melee weapon so the remaining creatures do not leave the machines without input. F swaps between the selected weapon and vacuum in the observed UI.
Upgrades and Demo limits
A weapon unlock is separate from a combat modifier. For example, the cited Faster Bonk card shows melee speed changing from +25% to +50% for $1,000. That is an observed upgrade state, not a universal starting value. This reference stops at the Uzi reached in the cited Demo run. The full release has different progression and does not inherit the Demo save.
