What changes after the Demo?

The developer’s save-transfer reply describes a new progression system, more lore and more content in the full release. The official store also presents weapons, vacuum upgrades, machines, conveyors and factory automation. Use the full-release opening and vacuum pages for current inputs; use the long Demo route for that older build’s weapon prices and connected factory progression.

Why begin again in the full game?

Demo saves do not transfer by design. A fresh full-release factory after playing the Demo is therefore not, by itself, proof of a broken save. The separate save reference covers that answer; it does not recommend moving Demo files into the full game.

Updates and controller support

The latest official-news snapshot checked on October 31 contained the OUT NOW announcement, with no numbered patch establishing the planned controller-support update. The guide dates show when each page was updated. The launch recording does not identify a numbered game build.
